I have many friends who are poets. 

I am not among them.

I do not pretend to understand what distinguishes a good poem from a bad poem, or what differentiates a poem from a series of words that create an image that (we hope) has an impact, or, even better, a lasting impact.

So, some of what you read under this poetry heading may not even be poetry, but it lives here anyway.  How subversive, no?  Some of this work I wrote in my teens and some I wrote this year.  I don't think of them as good or bad. They are a series of words that attempt to describe moments in time, things I've seen, or thought, or felt. words I choose to share here, with you.
